ACCOMMODATION
Entrance is into a small hallway with hooks to hang coats, then through to a large open plan living / dining room with, comfy three seater settee and easy chair, a woodburning (multi-fuel) stove, phone and round pine dining table and chairs to seat three people and views over the garden and beyond. A glass door from here goes out to the patio and orchard, the orchard being shared with the other properties on the row.
Off the lounge is ...

A small fully fitted kitchen with fridge (with ice making compartment), electric hob with double oven, microwave, toaster, kettle etc.

A double bedroom with king size sleigh bed (scroll type), pine wardrobe, dresser, and drawers and electric blanket controlled on either side. There's also plenty of room for a cot (travel cot available - please ask on booking)

A pretty single bedroom with 3ft pine bed, cabinet and built in wardrobe with storage. Window from here looks over the orchard at the rear.

Both bedrooms have lamps and pretty matching bedding and curtains.

A small recently refurbished shower room comprising electric shower, toilet, wash-hand basin and heated towel rail.

The garden and patio are accessed from the lounge, the patio has a table and chairs for four people, also use of the pretty orchard which has picnic benches and plenty of seating

The heating is by multi fuel stove and electric 'Economy 7' night storage heaters. In cold weather the heating will be put on the evening before you arrive so it is warm for arrival.

The Electric & fuel are paid for by a meter reading. One will be left for you in Bottom Shop on arrival. On departure, take another meter reading and calculate what electric, fuel etc. you have used. The phone is also charged for by using a simple bill reading, all instructions will be left for you.

Parking is on the village street outside the property - one permit is provided and will be in the property on arrival. If you have more than one car, we may be able to provide extra parking, please ask on booking.

Laundry facilities are provided in a small laundry situated over the road belonging to our family (and is shared with their properties). Two washing machines and a tumble dryer are provided, there is also plenty of washing line space if you prefer to dry your washing naturally.

We will accept a well behaved dog and smokers although we would prefer it if you smoked outside (in consideration of the next guests, as the smell can linger.)
