From the South

Leave M6 at J32, follow A592 (A591) until you reach Ambleside, at the first traffic lights bear left. Follow road for 3/4 mile, take the A593 for signposted to Langdale and Coniston. Continue for a further 21/2 miles, you will reach Skelwith Bridge, turn right onto the B5343 towards Langdale and Elterwater. Continue for a further 4 miles (approx), you will eventually pass over a cattle grid and see Elterwater village to your left. Take the second turning on the left after the cattle grid. Bottom Shop is about 100 yds along, on the left hand side. The parking permit will be in the property ready for you.
